Please review the MLA style and citation information on Purdue’s Online Writing Lab _OWL_ (Links to an external site.)site. Check out the format for online articles and check out the Sample MLA Works Cited Page (Links to an external site.).
Based on that information, create your own Works Cited page that included the 3 articles you read on social media activism (last week). Make sure to follow the formats precisely!
As a hint, here is the format for online articles:
Article in a Magazine:
Cite by listing the article’s author, putting the title of the article in quotations marks, and italicizing the periodical title. Follow with the date of publication. Remember to abbreviate the month. The basic format is as follows:
Author(s). “Title of Article.” Title of Periodical, Day Month Year, pages.
Poniewozik, James. “TV Makes a Too-Close Call.” Time, 20 Nov. 2000, pp. 70-71.
Buchman, Dana. “A Special Education.” Good Housekeeping, Mar. 2006, pp. 143-48.
Make sure to see the sample Works Cited page for the way to order and format these!!
