ОПЫТ И ПОДХОД К ПРЕПОДАВАНИЮ
Shreyas has over three years of tutoring experience. Starting in his local area, he taught a handful of pupils on a weekly basis during his own 6th form studies – their results were excellent with all GCSE students achieving grades 7-9. He has worked as an online tutor ever since, gaining a following for Economics. He has tutored multiple students to A*s and a recent pupil went from a C to an A in Economics after 3 months of lessons.
As a student himself, Shreyas understands and empathises with the hurdles children are facing. His teaching style focuses on student engagement and develops skills that will assist them in examinations. Active recall plays an integral part and lessons feature frequent quizzes, whilst remaining light-hearted, to ensure students are digesting new information. Shreyas takes the time to understand each student’s unique needs and tailors his lessons accordingly, to have the most positive impact.
ПОЧЕМУ ИМЕННО РЕПЕТИТОРСТВО?
I find teaching a constant challenge that is as invigorating as it is rewarding, and nothing makes me happier than helping my students. I understand how difficult it can feel to be behind at school, but know that one-on-one guidance and support can really change that. Knowledge has little value if it is not shared, and I take great pride in being able to use my own learning to help those as I was once helped.
My favourite book is Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo
