Thomas graduated from University College London with a BSc Hons in Theoretical Physics, and has A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. He has an interest in FinTech and behavioural finance, and has recently completed insight internships at HSBC, Adakas and Barclays.

Outside of tutoring, he is a keen musician, with proficiency in guitar, piano, and music production, and enjoys running and staying physically active.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE AND APPROACH

Thomas specialises in teaching Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-Level, and his tutoring approach is personalized and adaptive, tailored to each student’s learning style and needs. He believes in fostering a supportive environment where students can ask questions, explore concepts and develop problem-solving skills.

Tutoring offers me the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for Maths & Physics with students, guiding them through challenges and helping them develop a deep understanding of the subject. It’s immensely fulfilling to witness students’ growth and confidence as they grasp complex concepts.

My favourite books are Six Easy Pieces: Essentials of Physics Explained by Richard Feynman, Introduction to Electrodynamics by David J Griffiths and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
