BACKGROUND

Having gained an A in A level Economics (with the majority of units receiving 100 UMS Marks), Omar completed his BSc in Economics at SOAS (University of London). Since 2013 he has been teaching GCSE and A level Economics at inner London schools, and is currently an Assistant Principal and Head of Sixth Form in a leading London school where most students go to Russell Group universities.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE AND APPROACH

Over 90% of Omar’s students achieve an A or an A* in Economics. He is a supportive and patient tutor with excellent knowledge of the Economics syllabus for both GCSE & A level. He encourages all his students to believe that they can achieve top grades. Having been an Edexcel examiner he has valuable insight and techniques on how to maximise marks and achieve high grades across the Micro, Macro and Synoptic papers. With clear explanations Omar arms his students with the essential knowledge, skills and model answers on all the relevant topics, that can then be replicated in exams.
